I'd like to find a couple of those as I also have a model 75 and 78 that can use them.
No I'm talking about fitting a new bolt so that it fits evenly on the locking lugs.
What kind of stone do you use to stone the bolt on a Lee Enfield
Had to find out so I pulled one Igman and it measured 308 all the way.

Not too bad.
Just acquired this M82. Really hoping to find a rear aperture sight for it.

I will use it as a sporter. Did some calculations and found that if you can get Sierra 180 grain bullets doing 2480 to 2500 fps they are a close match to Mk VII ammunition. Within an inch out to 500...
Will probably use as is to put some meat on the table.
They were S&B and Igman . Just happened to check them with my calipers and both measured .308 just above the cannelure. Did the same with the ammo at the store and the Winchester was .308. I will...

Finally took a picture. Thought it was worn out until I measured the ammo. It was 308 and keyholing. Bought some 311 stuff and now I have round holes.
Well I got the MLE and the Cooey plus a bolt action shotgun with an adjustable choke for $525.
Sorry, was busy the last few days. I've got an offer on the table of $350 for it and a Cooey Rabbit gun and am waiting to hear back.
Am unable to get pics as it is 60 km away.
Came across a MLE. It's been sporterized and has a little rust. Any suggestions on what I should make for an offer that would be fair.
Scope is as far ahead as it can go with the mount it has. Whoever it was worked on the stock too, besides working up the load again is ok with me. Means more shooting time for me.:)
Had an M 44 I bought I bought for a song because someone had been working on it who shouldn't touch a gun. They put a side mount on it and cut the bolt and welded it back on. It works, not pretty but...
That is so awesome. Nice gun and your grandson looks proud to be holding it.

Found brass for it at Buffalo...
Came across an 1869/71 in beautiful shape. It's still a rim fire. Would really like to shoot it.
Would you convert it to center fire or leave it alone. Probably worth more the way it is but can't...
The shooter is usually the biggest problem here. I got caught with one of my 303's this fall.
My sons rifle wouldn't go off so I gave him the one I was using and grabbed the 303 that I had used...
Just need to find a place that I can test beyond 100 yards. My own range is only capable of that.
Although chronographing my loads and running my ballistics program has really worked out well for...
I just want these for hunting. If I get the original BC's then I can run a trajectory and then get my loads worked out to do about the same. I run the 180 grain Sierra Pro hunter at 2480 to 2500 for...
I have the BC.s of commercial bullets. I have 6 manuals here. Was trying to find the BC's of the original military loads so I can try to match them so that the iron sights on the guns will work.
L find the BC's for spitzer boat tails are all over the place from .490 to .646. That's a bit of a difference.
