The WIN parts are collectible to some especially if you are doing a restoration. I was waiting to see if anyone recognized the trigger guard. That was more exciting to me!

I received an SA with some WIN parts in the trigger group. The safety is flat on top, unfortunately it has the dark greek park on it.

The Op slide has PI stamped on the inside. I cant find any markings on the barrel band

I was hoping to get some input on this M1A1 to see how original it might be.

Its not painted its a grey park with a lot of oil on it. I have never seen that type of stamp.

this was on one of my garands from the CMP. I have never seen this type of marking before? Any ideas?

I think you may be on to something with the "cobbled up rifle" I looked at pics of 69's and the receiver looks like that. The serial number has not been removed as I would be able to see...

I took the receiver out of the stock and still cant see any numbers? There is the circled WP on the top front of the receiver and a circled P on the side of the barrel. No sign of any milling marks...
