Oh YEAH?? Well............. howzabout this one??
It was mid-may when I set up to shoot a 200 yard target at the range out back of the place. By the time I was ready at noon the temperature was...
Excellent!

Ok. Lets talk about that one. The serious rub mark on the lower fore end is as the Swiss armoury intended it. The shim under the lug is intended to pre-load the stock by about 6 pounds. This is one...
RC, I used the Rockchucker for a very long time. The single most important thing to me has always been case prep. That's easily 75% of the accuracy battle.
Ovidio, you're right. My son prefers...
Now that you've had a chance to read about the well lubricated and smooth running gears of potential Precision Reloading, (there are more factors involved, but..) let's throw a monkey wrench into the...
In case you missed this one:
Competition Bushing Sizing Die -- With this die, the cartridge case is completely supported and aligned with the sizing bushing before the sizing process begins. As...
In the "standard die" sets, other than the user's perceived quality differences, no. Both are for the k31 and the G11.
But when it comes to the Precision and Competition dies, only the user's track...
Rc, there's no doubt in my mind that you can. I don't know how many k31s are in the armoury, but this one' is not a select rifle. It's just the one my son chose to work with.
I read a lot about a...
RE17 is the powder you're looking for. It's made in Switzerland in the same old facility as the GP11 powder. Near as I can tell the only thing that's changed since the beginning is the coagulant....
RC20, I went back through your observations and all I can say is that what I posted is specific to the 7.5x55 cartridge specifically. I know factually that everything I posted is correct and has...
Danke sehr!
Amadeus, you really don't need different dies. In the past 4 or 5 years Mfg's have come out with "specific" dies for the caliber. I really don't know how I survived with just RCBS for some 50 years....
...... and yes, obduration and low load pressures were taken into consideration. That was not the reason.
My Schooling was in Graphics, but I sidelined as a portrait engraver in the late 60's. It's a very long story, and I do have a few claims to fame in that world. My Hemingway portrait hangs in the...
I was looking for a way to delete those photos. They're not necessary, but as usual, I'm out of the loop as to how that works.
Da lachen ja die Hühner............Oh well............
I'll be...
Sorry. Translation:
The Berger 175gr VLD is almost the same. VERY close and ..................... If you would rather speak German ... w can do that, but better in English for the members?
...
Die Berger 175gr VLD ist fast gleich. SEHR nah und ..................... Wenn Du lieber Deutsch sprechen wurdest ... können wir das auch, aber besser Englisch für die Mitglieder, gell?
Ich war in...
I'm glad to see this! We will have some great discussions for sure! I must explain that my typing is limited as my wrists and fingers are pretty bad.
Besides my firearms business, I was a chisel and...
Withy your kind permission, Gents.
