Surely an rare find and an great adition to you collection.
Hi All,
Just found another fake scope from the same seller on Ebay, its also listed as new and it has the same configuration. Its an Mk1 tube, an Mk3 engraving and an eyeshade is atached.
Hi,
The chest is looking great!!
You only used Canadian hinges and you stencil is telling me its an British made rifle inside.....huh?????
But again, an very well made repro!!

Hi All,
Have been away for an while but maybe I can resolve an part of this rifles/scope history.
The scope was sold on Ebay an year or so ago. It didn't have an mountingbracket at that moment....
Hi All,
Here is the message which was posted on the LERA website.
"To ALL Members, I have recently been made aware of a fake Canadian No.4Mk1*(T) being offered for sale for around the £2200...
Hi All,
Looks to me the rifle is missing some "destinctive" T stamps in the metal. Some Bubba has screwed up an perfectly good rifle.
BTW the s/n range for the TP is 74Lxxxx.
Hi all,
I took an good look at the pictures and they tell me that this isn't an original No4T rifle with an TP32 scope.
Why:
- the pictures are to "vage", some one who knows what he is selling...
Maybe someone can help me with this. :)
One of the guys on my club did see my Cno7 and got interrested. I told him to take an look around on the net and he found one in Canada (Jean Plamondon)....
Hi All,
Well done!!
I'm glad this T rifle is back in "business".
Hi All,
Sound like an lot of work restoring that old girl.
There were some mounting pads on Ebay lately, maybe they are still there.
Numrich has some good repro mounts and even an repro...
Hi All,
An interresting question that would easy to be answerd....... but no!!
From the first glimps I got from an LE rifle I fell in love with these rifles. I encounterd my first LE on an 100...
Hi All,
I have been looking around on the net and I found an German company who can do the trick. They have the expertise and the chemical "bathing facileties" to Brunofix almost every metal.
I...
Hi All,
Hard to register without an serial number...............
The police overhere would make it very difficult to import that rifle. But its an "unique" piece, thats fore sure.
Hi all,
I have to agree with all of you. It looks to me like an "buba rebuild".
The scope could be an fake too, there isn't an picture showing the all important s/n from the scope. If I can see...
Hi All,
I don't agree with "the Stencollector" about the mount. Its an repro mount just as the one I owned (and sold as an repro on Ebay). The mount is missing its round edges from the casting,...
Hi all,
Yep, Numrich is selling them as "hand stamps"....
Here is the link: German Arsenal Hand Stamps*|*e-GunParts.com
The stamps are rather well made but are mising some "parts", to be...
Hi Badger,
This is craftmanship at an top level!!
Thanks for giving us an "inside" look at your newest building project.
Hi all,
Nice to now that I'm not the only one who likes to collect the Enfields, and some other "brands" from the WW2.
Hi all,
Could it be they used an "spare" and unmarked reciever to build an new wapon?
I have heard some rumers in the past that these recievers existed some were in an old warehouse........
Hi All,
The original pads were solderd with tin. The solder isn't used to bond them to the reciever but to avoid any "rocking around" of the pads on the screws when the gun is fired. In other...
Hi SG5054,
The best thing is to start with an single stage press. You could reload an .223 with an multi stage press but an 8 mm and the old 30-06 would destroy your multi stage press.
You...
Hi All,
Overhere in Europe its quite common to reload your own brass. There isn't heardly any surplus on the market overhere. There once was an load of about 10.000.000 rounds of surplus .303 made...
Hi All,
I can tell you that the rifle in the picture is "set up" to look like the real deal.
I can't see the s/n on the wrist but it should read somewere between 74L0001 and 74L0350.
The...
Hi All,
Its an intressing post to read, but I have two things that I think are an mis interpretaion of the facts (at least thats my personal interpretation):
First off all the COS of an Mk II...
