I am interested in seeing the finger groove detail on the CMP stocks. Any pics of these? Also like to see the "C" stocks they sell.

Nice heirloom-I like it.

I just swapped them out-I'll report back. I had the USMC's on a Remington that never got shot. I put them on the SA. PD
Sweet, post some more.
Does the #8 ever merge with the triangle?
I have a set of #10 from Bill Bentz. Have never used them. Should I try them out?

Got this rifle as a semi-sporter in 2008. Set it up but only fired it today. Nice early DHT action with a wL/3 bolt. The bore is about 75%, but here's my target. Using Greek M2 w/ a '69 headstamp at...

That bolt is 1903 Springfield and is nickel steel, from the 1930's. One gas hole earlier, two gas holes later.
That rifle has been stripped of original finish and reblued, dulited or painted. If it...

Excellent! The deer usually leave 'em alone. Good growing!
Here's my cistern in front of the house-I am adding two pentagonal corner columns to accept the hand rails.
4000 gallons of H2O for...
This M1903A4 was purchased in early 2007. It has a replacement 3-44 dated barrel and a scant stock with inspection markings. I put a Lyman Alaskan on there and it shoots well. The bore is as new. I...
That stock is not a Keystone. Nice early 03 conversion. Valuable.

We know that the Greek armorers used biscuit repairs to salvage cracked wood on the rifles they borrowed from the U.S.
Did stateside armorers ever implement biscuit repairs on USGI weapons?

Thanks guys-I will post up some miscellaneous stuff shortly. This site is incredible!

Sweet iron. A fine early double heat receiver and the rifle has been rebuilt and refinished to state-of-the-art. A tribute to the resourcefulness of our WW2 depot system. WW2 rebuilds such as this...
Rock Island Bolt
Stock if GG, maybe fits the date...
Pics please!
I'll try a pic tomorrow
I have a 1986 MRT. Real nice sling.
