Field stripped it down today. Cleaned it all up!! However I would like to upgrade the firing pin by adding a spring to it. Not too keen on the slam fire possibility! But yeah this gun is in fantastic...

no it wasn't epps...It's from Tenda Canada in Richmond Hill Ontario at www.gotenda.com they do have Type 45 and Type 56 rifles for sale and alot of ammo too.

I'm such a noob!! The more I read the more I'm learning about these rifles. I just realized mine has the spring door in the butt(steel butt plate) and to my surprise there is a Mk 4 brass oil...
ya you are correct I was looking on the top of the bolt instead of the back of the handle and upon further inspection the both serial numbers match!!! very happy about that!!
