That is magnificent.
Reminds me of Bistecca ala Florentina (Tuscan t-bone). Yum!
Sounds like the safety was on
It is available from one US source, Edelweiss, but it’s not $200-300 a case anymore...
As you probably deducted, Sweden is not Switzerland :)
If they used the cleaning rods to stack arms in the field, then the matched rods ended when they moved out...
Very nice!
I now have a big problem... I want another one lol :)

Of course the cat has to inspect the process lol

Got my reloading going. Trying 142gr SMK with 42gr H4350 in PPU brass and a Win LR primer.
I recently sold my house in Delaware and moved to an apartment (until I find a house in my new...
The rifle did well. Shoots to point of aim, but the groups with Prvi FMJ wasn’t the best. I’ll try some handloads over the holidays.
Thanks. Looking forward to shooting her. It’s my first Swede. I love my K31 and Lee Enfield No4 MkI*. Hoping for the same successful results at the range. I’m waiting on 200rds of Prvi to be...
The stamp behind the trigger guard is a bit hard to make out. It could be a crown over C... or it could be just a spot.
It’s an early 1941 build, so maybe the barrel was supplied by the Gustav factory as the Husqvarna factory was ramping up?
It’s amazing this rifle went through many hard winters and still is kicking strong.
Prvi (PPU) ammo is back in supply. Always good brass. And not bad for factory ammo.
The last inspection disk lists a 6.51mm bore and condition 3 (I believe)...

Been wanting another Milsurp rifle and I recently picked up a 1941 Swedish M38, serial number 602249. I did a detailed cleaning and all the parts seem matching, even the stock and handguard. Bore has...
I thought about getting a K11, but I already have a very nice setup in my K31 and anyway, I really want a Swedish M38 next. I’m starting a Neutral Arms of WWII theme ;)
Edelweiss Arms has nice 1911 carbines for $400-$600.
The ole gal did well :)

That’s good to know. Thanks. I stashed away a set of reloading dies and I have 500 PPU spent brass just in case new ammo isn’t forthcoming in America soon.
Literally every brand is out of stock online everywhere. I understand GP11 dried up a while back, but currently even PPU is gone. What gives?
Nice rifle. I own its brother, 1940 K31 serial number 621455. They both mobilized together to defend against Hitler. You need to get the 1940 soldiers medal to go with it. Enjoy!
