I use the same grip as you but my slide stop never rides up. I shoot the hi power almost exclusively. Maybe just a slight grip adjustment. It doesn't need to be as drastic as you're demonstrating.

I got a service grade m1 last winter and the thing was a total lemon. Barrel was on the bleeding edge between service/field, groups at about 4 -6 inches depending on ammo. Good enough for someone...
For precision work, 1,2,3 calibration will not work, it will get you to minute of man no problem. Might need to dial a little more finely for the best accuracy.
I'm an admitted .300 black out hater, but congrats on the success! Glad you found a combo that works for you.
I'm sorry you don't live in a free state, but I'm glad to hear the hammer head grip...
Run the cases through the sizing die. May need to remove your decapping pin so you don't punch the primers out by mistake
What's the proper tightness for the gas cylinder? Mine has shot its way loose before, anyway to prevent this?

I run the expander ball all the way out and just iron out the neck first and then go about the rest of the sizing. Seems to be pretty easy on the dies
I shoot a LOT of the Prvi 139 grain full metal jacket bullets. I buy them in Bulk for my Ljungman so naturally they found their way into my M96 cases.
They shoot well enough for range use. Best...
The differences, off the top of my head, between the ag42 and the 42b are as follows.
Added the rubber brass bumper to save damage to brass for reloading
Added those two lumps on the dust cover...
Damnit guys you're going to make me buy one of these....
Scandinavia, a little bit of everything else here or there when I find something interesting.
Been lurking your forums for long enough figured I'd join your ranks.
Some of you may know me from gunboards, the high road, ammo smith or 7.62x54r.net
Figured I needed more people to annoy :P...
