I have 10 ShTLE MkI*, none have clicks on the windage.
None have pins holding the sight togeather.
Pic below show the use of collared screws and a sliding dovetail plate to retain the windage...
So did anyone make a barrel in the end?

Yep, unscrew from the front of the cocking piece once its dismounted from the bolt, expect to use light heat to get the thread to free itself from the hardened oil that will be locking it in place.

The barrel extension on the '16 measures 1", the No4 barrel thread is 1"x14, so...
It might find 7/32"x40tpi ME is a good place to start.

Yes, can be fitted to either large or small ring as the rear of the reciever is the basically the same, only the front ring is different.
The 5E mounts to the PH rifle with 0ba or something else...

Out of curiosity, what is the effect of wet ammo or wet chamber from water?, I imagine it may prevent cases sticking to the chamber wall, but maybe its not slippery enough? Any comments appreciated
