Answering to all the welcome posts regarding the finish....I decided to leave the rifle in the "Indian pattern",...already stripped off that very new black paint.

Peter, no spring washer....there is a 2 mm of free space from trigger guard and swivel round part....is this space where the washer should be? I remember that before to unscrew the swivel, it did...

As told I decided to keep the rifle to "Indian specification", so here is what I think to do:
