Hi,
I am interested in determining the meaning of particular markings on my 1918 Webley MK VI. The first is on the top of the frame, just below the hammer. It is a V in a circle.
The second...
The reference was very good. Apparently the application of the end cap remains a mystery; especially in the same month and year of production.

Hi,
I own an Enfield 'Jungle Carbine' that is original and not a cut-down. It is dated 5/47. I have 2 questions for those knowledgeable about these weapons:
1) Mine has a metal forend cap...
My preference is the M1 Carbine with HP or SP ammunition. I prefer the .30 caliber to the 5.56mm.
I have a sling for a K98k rebarreled rifle. It is of Israeli manufacture. The sling is marked with the Hebrew letter Tsadi צּ
Anyone know the name of the manufacturer of this sling?
Thanks!
Yes, but it is modified with the cut!
Thank you, Charlie. I found this, however the eBay site has all CUT Winchester op rods & the Gunbroker site has noe.
Best. . .
It is time for me to break up my 40+ year collections. I have somehow managed to obtain several M1 operating rods over the years, for which I have no use. I want to divest myself of most of my...
Sorry. Did not see it.
Will do!
I know, I know, not another how much is it worth question, but I need insights.

Another STRONG recommendation that you contact U.S. Carbines in Germany and Austria
Ask your question there. You will be dealing with 'Da MAN' of Bavarian Carbines. Jim is responsive, highly...
No way to determine the precise year. It is WWII ear Mark 2 US fighting knife. The Mark 2 was manufactured by various makers, however they have all become commonly known as the KA-BAR knife. They...
[QUOTE=browningautorifle;395130]I'm not sure if this will help but have a look at this vid and it's exactly what he's talking about...it might help you?
Thanks for the video, Jim. Appreciate it...
Thanks so much for the replies!
Tried two different of ammo and the same thing. I'll keep at it.
Thanks all. Great information. I found the screw on 'Springfield Sporters', as suggested under the Enfield #4.
Arghhh! Just checked shipping costs. $4.00 for the screw and $12.50 for the part!...
Hi,
I own a No5 MK1 that is matching except for the safety. Also, the barrel band screw is not original to the rifle. Any idea as to where I can find that one screw?
Thanks for the help!
I have a three lever VIS 35 that I have owned for many years. It is a beautiful weapon that I enjoy shooting occasionally. Had it out today and there was a problem that I just can't figure out.

Interesting. I have been exposed only the type pictured. Please provide a photo of the type that you are familiar with. I am extremely interested in seeing it.
Thanks!
That's the screw that is on all Type 99 rear sights; it is not an added part. The sheet metal cover is added and it swivels when it is used. When not in use, it simply covers the top of the sight. My...

When raised, it is easier for a gloved hand to elevate the sight.
I have a Type 99 Nagoya Series 2 (if my research is correct) that is in very good condition. The Mum is not ground or stricken in any way. It is matching, including dust cover. The anti-aircraft...
Can throat Erosion (TE) and Muzzle Wear (MW) be measured correctly in the 1917 with the same tool used for the M1?
Thanks!
If the spring were weak wouldn't the hammer move forward with finger pressure against it after the trigger was pulled? This does not happen.
I think the firing pin may have been shaved or reduced...
