I know some of the horror stories that surround JJCO rifles but with the market being pretty slim these days on nice serviceable smle's I wanted to get some feedback.

Is there a way to determine if the receiver or bolt is the problem? When you say the bolt being worn is that fixable with a new bolt head and if it's the receiver am I just out of luck?

It seems to be screwed in as far as it will go.

I did indeed but could find no evidence of parkerised k98's in the literature I read and in addition they seem to have usually removed the eagles which in this case are all intact.
