I am looking at a typical rebuilt S'G' with an underwood barrel and other various parts, but I was surprised to see SG on the front left side of the receiver hidden below the wood. Is this typical?

I'll keep an eye pealed locally and to your point something may show up....however if you have one or two carbines for $625-$685 each let me know :)
