    Markings

I notice in several books by well respected authors that the engraving for
the XL is on two lines and not on one line like this rifle.
    Are both types correct?

The rifle chest AV3671 has appeared in a earlier thread.

Attached are two more of the cutaways a German zigzag and a Colt new service.
Most people don't seem interested in cutaway firearms.
The third one is one of mine.

    cutaways

I picked up nine of these last week from deceased persons effects.
There may be some paperwork from his police force about their status.
Until then sadly they remain section 5.

    4T's

I am not an expert so please excuse me if I have got this wrong.
My knowledge is that the No4T rifles were only produced between 1941 and 1945 and mainly based on BSA (M47) rifles with some Enfield...

Its a Webley Mk V1 455 service revolver dated 1916.
At some point in its life the 455 cylinder has been removed and
the single shot block and barrel insert installed. This is obviously
    dated 1941....

The Ross was a cut down sporter, I thought about restoring it then realised that there are no

    Early metford and enfields

I do not think I have seen so many Metford and Enfield receivers for sale!
If anyone is looking to build up a early rifle this seems to be the place to look.

    M82

    Hi Gil
I wonder if you can assist?
I have just been offered a M82 serial number S-00471 mounted with a pecar scope.
Do the Parker Hale records give any clue to who it was sold to?
