Has anyone seen a NM/2 sight base marked NM/2 on left side and NM on right?
What time frame/serial number did IHC start using punch marks on barrel?
Thanks
The rifle was sold thru Erie Ordnance depot. I was told that they sometimes stamped a heart on NM rifle that past thru , wondering if this was remnants of heart symbol.
Heart symbol...
Does anyone know what this symbol is to the right of 1961 NM triangle?

I read an article in GCA journal volume 19 number 2 about IHC rifles in early 5mil range being original with HRA stocks. I assume these had the IHC DAS with higher arc on stars and lightly stamped...
Thanks, I looked right over that. Lol.
Anyone know where I can get a copy of M84 parts breakdown schematic? Thanks

Your range should be unmarked band and swivel or U ,UI band with QU , UQ or Q-TK swivel. According to CCNL 334 Q-TK swivel started at 4.67 but you never know.
QHMC did use unmarked type 1 band at 4.79, swivel was unmarked or Q-TK. 2&3 Weld marks were found. There were 2 variations of type 1 band early was narrow aperture swivel (1/4") and later wide...
I've noticed my rifle and 3 others from 3407xx to 4647xx where the 7 in hundred spot(3rd digit from right) is larger than other digits. Anyone have any info on this? How long it lasted etc.
Thanks...
Thank you, appreciate any and all help.
