Glassmountains,
I'm tied up most of the day, let me get with you later on this. Sounds promising. Thanks
Well, having already admitting my lack of knowledge on this subject, I thought the base might just slip in to the slot where the rear sight was removed:madsmile: Got a lot to learn.

Roy,
I appreciate all your good info. For some reason I thought all it took was to replace the bolt, stock, knock out the rear sight and install the scope mount, and voila, .....in business. I'm now...
My thoughts:
Of course an all-correct carbine is generally more desireable than a mix-master, but they cost/value more $. Kinda depends on what your objective is; shooting/having fun, collecting,...
I did a search and couldn't find what I need. Sorry if asked before.
Am thinking about converting my 1903A3 to an A4 and do not know the process. Was hoping there is a checklist, or set of...

Did some research - saw one forum post claiming this ammo is HOT. Couldn't find specifics on this MEN 86.

Thanks, RBruce,
Orig config would be nice. How can I find proper stock for my SN?

And, if I wanted to put the bolts in, it appears that the bolts only beef up the wood and do not...
Am swapping out a sporterized stock for a standard one. The sport stock has 2 bolts thru (see pics). The new stock has no holes, but does have 2 small pins at the same locations where the 2 bolts are...
Thanks, JBS. Will check it out.

In the listing, what is "part brand - GENERAL MOTORS"??????
It also had some service time in Austria. Hence, the LGK mark under the trigger.
Is not German. Is Brown-Lipe-Chapin (BLC) who did supply barrels to Inland, but they were marked as Inland. According to information in War Baby, page 208, BLC was being considered as a maker of...
Walked into that one, didn't I?
