Forgive my ignorance, but what part is the fore end ? Thank you
Although it is a single stage pull, it still takes some pressure to squeeze. Certainly not light triggered. Thank you

Thank you for this information, very interesting. Realistically does this modification done by previous owner make the rifle un safe ?
Recently purchased a Lithgow 1940 No1 Mk3 and noticed that it does not have a two stage trigger pull. When the bolt is not in the rifle you can certainly feel a 2 stage trigger pull, but when the...

True about the ammo but thank you anyway.
Thank you, I will get a .060 blade I have a .075 blade and tried that and that brought my POI too low. Would a .045 blade still be too high ?
What size front blade sight do I need to bring my POI to the center of black square ? I am shooting Sellier and Bellot 303 British 180 gr FMJ bullets. The picture is of a zeroing target 3 round group...
I have two beautiful Savage made No4 Mk1 rifles in excellent condition, almost looks as though they were never issued. What is the story with these rifles ? I mean my two examples have no import...
Hello all, how does one remove the carry handle sleeve off the Bren Mk 1 barrel please. Thank you
You old Bren gunners out there, ever hear or know of a left handed soldier being able to effectively use the Bren gun ? I am a south paw by the way :D
Thank you Peter, I will try as you instructed. I wish to remove the sleeve so I can clean around the gas system as thoroughly as I can even though the barrel is welded in place. Happy to hear you...
So much for that, the barrel is welded on lol. Thank you
Oh what about the Mk1 barrel flash eliminator sleeve, can it be removed easily ?
Thank you guys.
Thank you Peter I will not remove the carrying handle but definitely need to remove the butt stock and pistol grip, happy to hear that for now I will not need a combo tool, but will get one soon....
I have a Mk 1 Bren dewat. The upper and lower receivers are welded together, can I still remove the butt and pistol grip ? And can I use normal tools other than a combo tool ? Thank you.
Thank you for the answers, just curious if there are any dewats out there that can cock and click and take apart like an old style dewat such as in the UK for example.
Thank you for the reply. I remember seeing sten gun dewats here in Canada and in some pictures it was field stripped. This obviously must be older spec dewats.
Was there ever a time in Canada where a dewat was able to legally disassemble ? I know now newly deactivated guns are welded shut, but like old cock and click versions are there any that can be...
Thank you for the replies.
