    No.4 barrel marking?

    On my 6/43 Fazakerley No.4 Mk.1 barrel is the marking ` R 5 ` stamped
    on the barrel top just forward of the knox form. Anyone tell me what it means

    I have seen the marking CE1967 on the metal caps of some no.4mk.1 forends.
    Can someone tell me what it stands for?
