Bought a ax41 k98 2 days ago. But not sure the metal parts have the original bluing or not. And noticed the cup butt plate is also has bluing on it. Need to find out ASAP. Just paid over 3000cad or...

I have a 98k ( byf 43), all matching except barrel, front sight hood is missing,
floorplate marked (germany)

receiver:51316 and has ( h) beside it.
barrel bands:1316 x2
bolt: 1316 h
safety...

Don't know which one is more collectible.

But it doesn't look like it. seems the stock and the blueing is in org condition + all matching ser# but the fire proof mark has been peened. So have no idea who did that

u must be looking at the wrong one.Bet the one u are looking is dot44, the one I am looking is byf45 is live firearm

sorry. the page is gone coz believe they put it on hold for me. Receiver is byf45 and barrel is 44. come with sling mark L&F is in good shape. every thing complete but is deface.
