The recoil I see isn't surprising nor would it be unmanageable. I shot the .55 boys without trouble too. They're heavy and that helps.

Musette bag is kind of hard to find nowdays. they got used for carry all and ended up worn out after service. Nice find.

Nope, they just sit flush. Inexperienced people sometimes damage the spring by pinching it while rotating the stock.

I've done the rope scramble nets and they aren't much better. There's always a ten thumb buster that can't manage, too clumsy for anything...most we ever lost was a rifle.
