I don't know much about the SA 7.62mm Brens but if they take FN mags, then bog standard 30 round L4A2-4 magazines should be a doddle to fit by filing the large front knib down to a small FN size...

You're right too! There is JUST enough diametric room to bore a 7.92mm chamber into a .303" chamber. Good thinking Wally. I think that must be the answer to the querie.

From what you have said, CRD is Climax Rock Drill from Redruth in Cornwall who made .303" Mk2 Bren barrels and T-3884 is a Daimler Mk2 Bren of 1942/43

There were no 7.92mm Bren barrels made at CRD...

There's a few things we all need to know. First, use a 7,92mm drill round and tell us whether it is in fact bored and chambered for a 7,92mm round. Give us a detailed description of the markings...
