I've had mixed luck with 110gr bullets in any of my '06's, either they like them or they don't. I did run onto something that surprised me tho...a couple of years ago I stumbled onto a cartridge...
LOL If I had had the money I probably would have. I saw him at other gun shows back in that time period, but since I retired I only make the little one here in my home town.

I think I'd pass unless I was going to run a can on it. The muzzle blast of a .30 carbine out of 10" Contender barrel is something I'll never repeat willingly.

This is where I found the info that the receivers were forged, not cast. I've used parts made by LMT in several AR15's I've built and never found them lacking.
