Milsurp ammo is virtually gone in Canadaicon. Nobody has used 8mm Mauser since just after W.W. II either. Closest you can get is Prvi or S&B brand ammo. Runs about $37.95 per 20 for hunting ammo. Or corrosive, Berdan primed, 50's vintage, Yugoslav milsurp at $825.00 per 900 from Lever Arms. Better and less expensive to reload.
No ammo exports out of the U.S. without the State Dept. permit. No reloading components either. ITAR thing.

No Canadians can't get ammo from the USAicon, it isn't Canadaicon that has the problem it is the USA which doesn't allow it to be exported without permit.

Canada ammo several months ago had 8mm reworked surplus (1930s manufactured, remanufactured with a non-corrosive primer still berdan primed though). Stuff kicks like a mule and was 1200rds for 949.95$+taxes. Just looked and it might be sold out.

If you were local I would sell what I have left at discount as to be honest I don't intend to shoot it, kicks too much for me to enjoy it.
