Now that I´ve settled in to shooting with a scope, I´ve got a problem in that I have to remove the scope to transport the rifle to the range (on a motorbike). So I need a protective container for the scope & bracket. There´s a repro on a Frenchicon site but it might well be a bit too short. It´d need to be about 14 inches (35cm) long. Don´t mind about the screws not fitting the bracket as I could pad it out with foam. Could someone provide the inside length oif the standard tin? (please)
