Sadly, that could get my kids fired. It's the way of the world these days. Clients are to be given their privacy and even for me to go over to try to say hi could cause issues if he was in a bad mood. My daughter works there also part time during the school year.

I even hinted about telling him his father in law has his book and a small collection and he brought the privacy issue up. I might have a couple of bayonets he might find interesting. None of my firearms are that incredible. He didn't think I would know who he was.

My daughter works front desk and there have been a couple of high profile people, much, much higher than Ian who have stayed there and she doesn't tell me until after they are gone. One is one of the good guys in Hollywood that has family in the area and comes fairly often. In all fairness, she didn't know who he was until the 2nd or 3rd time he stayed and even after finding out, he's too old for her to connect to.

It would be fun however. He seems like he'd be a great guy to talk with. I've interacted with him a couple of times on facebook.
