    Howdy from Pennsyltucky and Cacalacky

I am thankful to a good buddy of mine for introducing me to this site and forum. I am around 15 mos from retiring and plan to expand my collection of military rifles. The information that is consolidated here is the best I have seen.

I will be retiring to Bath, NC and will be looking for a gun club to join in that area.

My thanks to all of you who are military or retired military. It is always approriate to remember you who have served and even more so at this time of year. Independence Day is the remembrance of what started our great nation and you folks are who preserves it.

    New member...

Just want to say howdy. I am new to this, I just bought a M.N. 91/30. It's been fun to shoot, and I can consistantly hit a 9"x9" square at 50 yds. I won't brag about how tight the groups are, though. But I can hit it pretty much every shot. (That's with iron sights and age-weakened eyes.) I look foreward to learning from the experience of this group.

    Hi,
I represent a small manufacturing facility in Texas and we cater to a number of WWII type semi auto builds. Our latest project is of an American made FG42 and we are trying to get the word out and see what the interest is! Thanks again!

    new,well never have posted

Thought I would introduce myself since I haven't posted and have been here quite a while.
Thomas Jackson is my name, just started collecting last year. So far I have come across a nice 43 91/30mn one m-28 from SKY. The SKS is a russian 53, the best by far is my 43 Swissicon k-31 short rifle. Hardly a ding in the walnut stock, still a great shooter. Think I got lucky since I picked it up for just $200 now ones in my condition go for 350 or better. Anyway glad to meet ev1.

Greetings! I've watched the board for years, but never posted. So,......Howdy, folks. I like U.S. military weapons from all time periods. Also am in to Military Vehicles, including a Model 1917 Machine Gun Cart that's under restoration. I have a dummy Vickers that will be carried by the cart.

    glad to be OFFICIALLY aboard!

Greetings all. I came here looking for literature and haven't been back in a while.Jumping all the hoops so I don't get dumped. A little history. Us military in the 70's.School trained, practicing, gunsmith for 30+ years.Shop was in military town so have seen a fair amount of old military things.Rifles, pistols, MGs,and SMGs.Pretty much retired now.Trying to become a gentleman farmer.Have a small shop to play in and projects I picked up over the years and never finished.I always thought it was a love and not a job anyway.
