Springfield M1903 A3
I've been experimenting with reduced loads for 100 mtr shoots and the initial results were promising. I then adjusted the loads and fired 40 rds of assorted reduced loads today at 100 mtrs on an indoor range in the prone supported position, slings not allowed on that range.
So in order of merit, 5 rds of Austrian surplus which normally group a bit better, 1.5 inches are possible with my Garand and the Springfield. Then 10 rds of 168 grn HPBT sat on top of 14 grn N340. The other loads grouped about 3 inches so aren't worth talking about. The first 5 rds of the 168 grn bullets landed in a group of 1.1 inches, the next 5 rds opened the group up to 1.5 ish inches. Not bad for a rifle made in Sep 1943.

Try 110 grn FMJ round nose bullet (used for M1 Carbine) and 14 grn of Unique, I use this in all my 7.62 mm Enfields,
