Beretta M38a deactivated
Hi there, I have always been a big fan of Beretta SMGs and a while ago I bought a deactivated M38. The receiver had been replaced by a tube, the barrel welded closed and bolt is absent. Besides that all other parts are present. I found a manufacturer of 16" barrels and bolt assemblies, but could not find any builder who can work on it. If anybody has any hints please let me know, I'd appreciate.

The legalities of what you are attempting are questionable. You may not restore any weapon to full automatic which may be why you can't find anyone to perform the work. Now if you are trying to build a semi-auto out of it, that is legal but you better be sure it cannot be converted to full auto fire.

It is a legal semiauto build I am after, here is the company. providing parts:
Indianapolis Ordnance - Beretta 38/44 and 38A
I guess that I cannot find a builder advertising similar services as this is not a very common build. I can ask the good ones I know and who look after my FALs, Galils, etc...builds however I wanted to check first if anybody in the forum had any experience with it.
