Exclamation New Registrations for FREE access to site disabled.

    January 16th, 2022

Effective today, FREE registrations to use our site have been disabled by the site administrator.

The reason for this is online scams in popular firearms forums have become more prevalent in the last few months. The most common tactic used by fraudsters is re-direction selling. We do not allow re-direction selling on our site, which means using our PM (Private Messaging) system instructing another member to contact third parties at a different email address than the one registered with our site. Unfortunately, this activity is becoming epidemic and I'm just too old and tired to want to try and manage individual FREE registrations to weed out the bad apples.

So, we're taking interventionist action to block un-moderated FREE registration to our site for the increased protection of our members. Therefore, effective January 16, 2022, we are disabling ALL new FREE registrations. It’s unfortunate that after 15 years of operations we've been forced to take this action which penalizes new registrants, however, we have an obligation to protect our existing 34,000+ valued members. All existing FREE members have been grandfathered and this change only affects NEW registrations going forward.
