Are there any manufacturer's marking on the leather scope covers? Anyone got a good picture of a set of leather scope covers? Similarly how are the leather slings marked?

Hello,
I have never seen Canadian marked scope covers or 1918 slings. I have a couple of scope covers, both produced my Barrow, Hepburn & Gale. See attached pics for a 1941 and a 1944. Also, I have a 1918 sling that was sitting at the bottom of the transit chest when I bought the set back in 1991. Sling is marked 1918, with brass buckles. No broad arrow acceptance stamp, though.

Hello rgg_7. I have an REL CNo32 MkIII that has its lens caps with it. I'm not close to my gunroom just now, but from memory I don't think there are any markings on them. However, my memory has always been bad & isn't improving any with age, so I'll check tomorrow & post again if I turned out to be wrong.

Hi rgg_7. I checked the lens caps on 1-C & the only marking they bear is a straight sided broad arrow on the flat face of the ocular end.
Hope this helps.
