My new (and First) 03A3

This is the first 1903A3 I've ever found that I like (maybe love) this much. I wanted to see what you guys think. The barrel date is 10-43 but it didn't come out so great in the pics

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Looks like a nice one. Hopefully you didn't have to pay too much. Are you going to shoot it or will it be safe queen?

I didn't think I paid too much and it'll be a safe queen. It has company with other safe queens though.

Looks very clean! Fresh from the rebuild arsenal . Does the stock have an arsenal overhual stamp? O.G.? I would definitely shoot it! Why not?!

The Ogden Arsenal (Utah) was known for turning over alot of rifles. Some with nothing done to them. Just a stamp and out the door! Freshest 03a3 Ive seen. The value can only go up! But Id still shoot it! Maybe once every couple of years! Sweet rifle.

Thanks for all the compliments and info guys. Now it seems that I am going to have to look for a nice 1903! I never ends does it? I guess one can acquire a taste for Ramen noodles.
