Should I Buy This?
I am looking into buying another Enfield and i found one i like. its a 1943 BSA No.4 Mk1. It has a four or five (he was not sure) groove bore that's in very good shape and it is all matching numbers. The wood looks excellent and only has a few scratched and dents. the metal finish looks good and is all military original. It is going for around $550, and that's including taxes and shipping. i wanted to know if anybody here thinks this price is right and if i should buy it.

Pics would definetly help here, but not always possible I know. Therefore going only by your description I'd say the price is very high. The market is full of fiddled with, restored sporters and recent imports, which is fine for nice examples/shooter grade rifles which are more like $350 range. Now a totally original, non-FTR'd, excellent condition example might fetch $550.
Just my opinion now.

From what i can tell from the pictures the rifle is all original and has not been fooled with. Although im not sure if the wood is original but i think it is. I will phone them back and ask. the list price is 475. i will ask if i could get it for 450.
