    Lithgow butt stock question

I got this 1942 Lithgowicon No1 MK 3* when I was in high school. Not sure why, but I never bought a book on it like I usually do. Any way when I bought the rifle it came with two butt stocks. One that the wood color matches and the other that is slightly different. The one that is on the rifle, starting from the wrist back has SLA, 44, a crown, 4, S. The upper stock has SLAZ 42. The second stock has an S or a B, a line, 33, then a circle with three lines coming out from one point. sort of reminds me of a shell. Also the second stock is a little bit longer.

I have looked on line for the maker information, but I must be dense as I am not seeing what I have or what it means. Can some one tell me?

Also I have a friend who is interested in buying the second butt stock. Should I sell it or hang on to it.

    Thanks
    Martin

My money is on a No.4 Long Branch buttstock for the second stock. A photo will quickly confirm what it is or isn't.

Of the whole rifle or the spare butt stock?

The whole rifle. If it is in as nice a condition as in the smaller photos it would be a pleasure to view it.

The Buttstock was made by Long Branch. The "circle with three lines coming out from one point" is a C with a broad arrow inside it.
