    Possible Type 38 rifle purchase

    Hi
Looking at a possible purchase of my first Arisakaicon and would appreciate some feed back on it. It is a Nagoya made 28th series rifle serial number in the thirty thousand`s with matching numbers.
Does it look refinished and in the correct configuration ? it does come with cleaning rod but not shown in picture, it has a trapezoid back sight which I believe is correct for this series but has a flat and not cup shaped butt plate not sure if this is correct ?

    Thanks Terry

Rear sight and butt plate are correct. Too hard to tell if it's been refinished from the photos. It is a nice looking rifle in any case. Metal looks original as it has a worn look to it but it is still in good shape.

It does look like a nice rifle. I don't think it has been refinished but like Aragorn stated it's hard to tell. Depending on price.....
