03A3 Sporter - I hate people who try and sell me guns.

I don't understand why I have this addiction to old rifles and even old Milsurp that has been buggered with... Sigh... Here is another 03A3 that I have been playing pong in my head with - Should I buy, shouldn't I buy.. I told myself I was done buying rifles, then someone pushes this in my face for $180.00

If I lived close I would be less help. Imagine going to a gunshow with someone that doesn't see "Why not"?

LOL, you remind me of me. if a good barrel it's worth it. But would you use it, and have some one to pass it to later?
My son who likes to hunt and shoot when he has time tells me to sell a big portion of my 50 plus milsurps, so he doesn't have to deal with them post mortem.
Probably losing some money that way. True with lots of wives and children.

Yes, its an addiction coupled with an obsession I think. Barrel is beautiful inside, the sporter is well done. Using it is a completely different thing; I would shoot it, how often is the real question. No problem passing them down, I have 6 kids and they already argue who's going to get what LOL.. When they ask me I tell them I'm putting the slip of paper with the rifles name, model, and if there is one the serial number in a bag and each will take a turn taking a one out. What they get is what they get anyone argue and I sell them all. LOL

I once posed a question to a police officer as I was licensing a 303 and enquired "How many high powered rifles can ya have Bob." "You can never have enough of them." that was in the days when you went to the local police station to get the firearm licensed nowdays its up to the walla's on the end of a phone in Perth and usually takes anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months like happened to me with my 6.5 x 284 I wanted on my open license.

Your like me usa or allot of us here go to a show with a clear mind of not buying much then when in among all that bluing and milsurps smells of oils and woods your little wallet demon opens up your wallet and you end up with stuff you have no idea why you got it but heck who cares you'll find a use for it, like yesterday a WWII machete & scabbard was on my screen heck I need one of them so brought it, I don't live in a jungle?
My poor long suffering wife has sorta given up with me with my buying splurges not that I am buying rifles as it really it too hard and a PITA to get H.P rifles now and getting worse.
