30 Sept 2022 Garand Picture of the Day
PFC Ray F. Lohof, 'B' Company, 68th Armored Infantry Battalion, 14th Armored Division being helped off a tank after the battle of Ober-Otterbach, 18 December 1944.
On March of 1943, Ray entered the military and served with the Army for 22 years. He received the Silver Star, Bronze Star and the Purple Heart, while being stationed all over the world including: Austria, Italy, Korea and Germany. Following his retirement from the military, he remained in Germany, where he worked as a civilian for the military for 10 years. Ray later managed a depot for Oil Pipelines for 10 years until his retirement.
