Milsurp Ammunition Confirmation
I bought this years ago and need a confirmation of what/where it came from. I believe it is 440 rounds 7.62x54r, heavy ball, steel core, made in 1975, with powder made in 1974. Possibly Romanian? Does anyone know if it is lacquer or copper cased or what the projectile weight is?
Top Left: 762DPSz GSZ
Bottom Left: 440 db and a silver over yellow paint
Top Right: 15-21
Middle Right: 75-VII
Bottom Right: VT 7/74 51
Standard Com Block tin.
Thank you

The blue over yellow are the Ukrainian colors... made in the Ukraine (?)...

It is silver over yellow.
I believe you have 440 rounds of Hungarian steel-cored heavy ball.

I have a can of linked Hungarian heavy ball x54r. I will look at my markings to see what they are.
