Gong to an auction Sat.Need assistance

Sorry for image quality but these came from auction site.

This looks like an M4 in a very collectible sheath. Left side. Isn't it supposd to be an M3?
Your opinion please! Suggestions on price or prices.

I believe that this is Germanicon Dress Bayo? Price?

Medical Machete This does not look right. Too many rivets in upper wood handle. Should be one?

Were sheaths made by different companies? The sheath does not look right and with the blade, shouldn't there be a company name, under the USMC?

    Price?

They say that this is a Woodsman Pal. Maker is in Reading Pa. Marked on blade face. Very small letters..Price?

    Auction Sat.

A.F. Medic-That M4 in the leather scabbard appears to be a reproduction Camillus made in the 1990's. That is how they were packaged. It is not an M6 scabbard for the M3 Trench Knife. You might want to check "US Military Knives and Bayonets" site. Bayonet Points and Repro ID sections cover these. Not sure about the M4 in the M8 scabbard. The other stuff looks good. I would definitely do my homework. Good luck! Skip

A.F. Medic- Sorry, did not get a chance to finish diagnosis yesterday. Hard to tell which maker w/ M4, but does have re-brown spacers, legit. Germanicon Dress Bayonet "Way outta my collecting knowledge". Medical Corps bolo. Checked Cole BK 4. There were a couple w/o mfg. name. But, check about 1.5 inches in front of handle "Clyde" blade company used a circle w/name in that local. It almost looks buffed or worn in the picture. Finally, is the Woodsman's Pal fitted with a 12'' (Vietnam era) or 14" (WW2). Hope this helps a little. SKIP

That "Highly Collectible" scabbard was in fact bogus. A repro. The bayos were M4s but in poor shape.

The Medical Corp went for $250.00. I may have irritated the other bidder as I dropped out at $250.00. Leaving him holding his expensive prize.

The Woodsman's Friend was legit and I got it for $60.00. What a piece of American ingenuity! It is vintage WWll but I may try to use it during our fall archery season. Newed a scabbard though. Their web site has them for sale.

Good score. I have done the same thing in bidding. I was at an auction and ther werer 3 Japaneseicon swords. The first 2 with for 500. the third only went for 250. When the winning bidder of the other 2 talked to me about the third sword, I pointed out that the frist 2 were reproductions. The bad looking third one was an original. Looks can be deceving.
