Front Sight Adjustment Tool
I was surprised at finding no information on this tool. I know you can fab up your own tool and or adapt one, but a decent one is nice. I found one reference to this and followed up and bought it (I have one 1917 thats 8 inches off to the left at 100 yds)

Nice to be able to move it and dial in, very nicely done and $25 includes shipping. I have no connection to the seller, nicely done and handy for working on these including sliding one off if you need to and or want to get multiple rifles closer
With this I can dial it in spot on (or as close as I get these days)

if your 8 inches off, chances are your barrel is out of index a bit.

Thanks Chuck, I will check it for that. Had looked for the cracks but don't remember if I looked at the mark specifically.
I got it on center yesterday without too much movement (well inside the dovetail still).
Spot on centered now (at least for my most common re-load).
