    Rock-Ola Stock

I bought this on e-bay a couple of weeks ago. It was broken on the right rail. It was very dirty but looked like it had potential so I took a chance. Sorry no before pics this time. I cleaned it up and found out that the "Craftsmen" at Rock-Ola had done some fixing at the but and slingwell area. It was also cut for the M2, the best modification I have ever seen. I fixed the break and patched the selector cut out. Sometimes it pays to take a chance.....Frank

Frank your work amazes me. Stuff others would walk past because they know they can not do anything with, you turn into a nice stock.

    Good work.

Hi Rusty, this is the stock I mentioned in my e-mail.
This is the band shadow. What do you think?
It would look good with my Rock in it also.....Frank

    Frank, you did good....

    BUT....

That patchwork done in the butt of that stock is AMAZING!!!!

Hey, bud, when are you going to get your work up to THAT standard????

Seriously, that should make us wonder just how much craftsmanship and technical expertise has eroded from America.

    Thanks Ed,
I agree, that is beautiful work. A lot of that "craftsmanship" is long gone.
I have some more to share in the next couple of weeks. RMC, Win, S'G' and some tricky handgaurd work.....Frank
