Whenever I see a photo like this I can't help but wonder how many of those fine young men made it through the war. God Bless the Marines and all others that have seved our country over the years.

Their height was also quite uniform. Sea going Marines , cream of the crop. Dad call them "Sea Going Bellhops", as only another Marine could.
