A couple of questions that I think need answering.

What is a home made basement effort, and how does a home made basement effort differ from a factory made effort ?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I know you're not a dumb or naive individual ....

Having said that, I also know that you're baiting towards an argument you already have the answer to and that nobody is going to win anyway ...

I DO NOT want this site to do ANYTHING other than be focused on the collecting of old milsurps and enjoying that as a hobby we all love and share amongst like minded folks.

If you want to start discussions about building guns that aren't registered or home made building of guns as a hobby, this is NOT the site for you to do it.

To be honest, perhaps I should have dealt with the original thread sooner, but I didn't, as I really wasn't paying much attention and reading it.

Enough said ...
