sight tool question
Has anyone used one of these sight tools or something similar? Just want to know if it works well since I am going to be putting a flip sight on a receiver that already has the old sight removed. I don't want to go banging too much on the new sight and risk damaging the dovetail and this looks like it might work well and save me from taking it to a gunsmith.

I bought one of these and I really like it. Most gunsmiths are going to put your receiver in a vise and bang away on the sight with a brass punch. My only suggestion is to put a good smear of grease on the sights before removing or installing them. It will make removing the brass deposited on the sight easier. This is a great tool and well worth the money.

Thanks Mike. I think I'll pick up one of these and try it. Looks like it just uses a wrench to turn the bolt to push the sight, eh.

Mike, thanks for recommending this tool. Got it today and it worked like a dream. Made installing the new sight really easy.
