    Cajun Pawn Stars Guns?!

Over the past year or so I've tuned into the show "Cajun Pawn Stars" on the history channel. So far I've seen a B.A.R, a 1928 FA Thompson, a 1903 with the rare trench firing device, and today's was a 1903 with M1icon rifle grenade adapter, which they actually fired on show.

Anyone else seen this? Thoughts about all of this?

I've seen those too. Doesn't mean they actually dealt on any of it. More than likely they just procure these for our interest. Then they're returned to the originator. Just for interest sake...no part of any of those shows is real. One day one of these clowns is going to fire an antique, and it's going to go to pieces. Then we'll weep...like that 1903 w/trench device...
    Regards, Jim

That was my thought with the rifle grenade launching 1903...

I watch it, it looks like they do have several weapons on sight. Some but not all seems true. I visited in person the hard core pawn in Detriot once. It really was what you saw on TV.

They usually bring in Bruce Canfield http://www.brucecanfield.com/ a well respected Author and authority on U.S. small arms. I an a bit dubious on the "reality"
of reality TV. That having been said. I have seen some of the stuff from Pawn Stars actually sell on Ebay after apearing on the show. I do wonder if Mr. Canfield would appear as simply an actor on the southern version. I think the Deramus folks on that show are pretty well known in LA. I would not be surprised if there was some element of truth even if the customers are recruited.
