Aussie Fraudster selling M1C scope mount

If you are interested in buying a Chinese repro M1C mount this guy( he said his name was "Wade" a self-proclaimed "great African big game hunter" who was heading to Africa to shoot an elephant this year). He'll lie to you via email or phone, maybe even in person if you are local. He proudly claims it is the real deal. Best of all he has plenty of them in stock. It's good to see that the typical gun show huckster is alive and well in every country that allows people to own guns.

He reposts the ad every few weeks to make it appear to be a new ad.

No texts because no mobile phone service in huckster land,,,,,,buyer beware.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Ok, So that is Wattle Grove Park Gunshop.
I would believe him. I have seen his wares at gun shows and he has chopped thousands of rifles up so he says and some of the SMLE parts I have seen conform to this statement. Like sections of brand spanking new SMLE barrels chopped up with the sights still mounted to the piece of the barrel "Cause there is so many of them and it saves time" They advertise parts and chopped up firearms for parts near every day on used guns.
So going on what I have seen of the parts at gun shows I would believe the listing.

Have you physically seen one to prove they are repro's and not genuine? He literally has mountains of parts.
His add says no mobile or texts due to coverage and he is VERY hard of hearing........just saying....

He is selling them for Repro price.

A real M1C or MC1 mount would be considerably more money.

    His ad says:
"... Ref: GH. Very rare Griffin & Howe quick release sniper scope mount for the M1icon Garand. ..."

Nothing fraudulent about his ad, repro or original, though I would expect a commercial G&H mount based on the ad copy.
