Mauser high turret sniper on GB

I am very new to Mausers and have started doing a bunch of reading on the sniper variant. I came across this one on GB and would like the opinion of the forum members on its originality. I am conerned about the "of the 10,000 Mauser sniper rifles made, only 30,000 are left" that has really seemed to have grown in the last few years. Any opinions would be appreciated.
