Took advantage of some of the last fine weather we are going to have in a while to tale the Old One Out.
No not my wife! just our little CBR250RR we had done up plus I am teaching my wife how to ride an old school bike as her other 2 bikes spoil her.
Its a bit tricky for her to get used to revving the bike past 12000 rpm as thats when it gets up and goes eventually she was changing gears at 16000 which is still under the red line by 3K.

Was a bit hard on my V4 Ducati as its just not made for 80KLm/Hr touring the back roads of which allot are showing moss growth on them so slow speeds are in.

Home life is good but even better for the flea bucket who has resumed his position now we are in winter priority one at the wood heater each night.

Hi Ovidio I thought you would have agreed in principle that dawdling along on a Panigale is not what Mr Ducati made them for, no seriously I didn't mind I'd had the V4 out a couple of weeks ago and discovered the new exhaust and re map of the ECU has made good inroads to arm stretching acceleration.
I had a ride on the Ducati 2021 V4S Multistrada what a weapon same engine as mine but detuned to 205 crank horse power and different torque mapping and only a 10,000Rpm red line my goodness have they packed some bling into that bike you would get lost just trying to reset the trip meter LOL.

Seriously it has side/front radar proximity detection slows you up getting close to traffic you can alter the intensity of it, cruise control I tried that boy a bonus, heated grips and seats had the seat on low setting and cooked my backside as I was to scared to try and turn it off without any instructions.
And what a pleasure on the roads handles like only a Duke does and very comfortable, has wi/fi, sat nav a very big TFT screen up front, led lights the only draw back is its a very tall bike and I'm 6' 2" its hard to swing the leg over better off standing on the left peg and doing that bit.
If your going to tour thats the rig to get on have a ride of one Ovidio you'll be surprised with just what Ducati have achieved with that bike and a very good fuel range as well.

I bet it's a great bike.
I'm waiting for the open days of Triumph and Ducati to see if I can try a Speed Triple and a Multistrada, just for the fun of it.
I'll let you know my impressions if they make those open days.

See if you can get a ride on the 675 - or the 675R speed triple my friend has both and he has great fun on it they tend to float the front wheel skyward easily but they handle very well indeed.
The 1050 triple well don't see many of those here another friend has one but I think he misses the 675 he had just different bikes.
The Ducati V4S multistrada your going to love it, my mechanic took his wife away on their demo V4S Multi and they did not want to come home it was that good on the road they just loved it.
