    Getting frustrated!

Just when I think I have this rifle identified I find that I was wrong. Please, someone... Tell me exactly what I have here. Thanks!

Welcome to the site. Go to the upper right side of the page where it says Search Milsurps.com and type in How do I upload images onto the site and you will have the answer to that question.
Looking forward to trying to resolve your riddle for you.

If it helps, a No. 4 Rifle's rear sight is on the receiver. A No. 1's is on the barrel. Who made it should be under the bolt handle on the receiver.

You have a 1942 dated no1mk3* "dispersal" rifle assembled mostly by BSA.

Does it have a 4 groove or 5 groove barrel?

Many "Dispersal" rifles have 4 groove barrels.
