    VZ24 Sling?

Can anyone confirm if this is an original VZ24 sling?

WWII VZ24 MAUSER LEATHER POLISH CZECH RIFLE SLING RARE on eBay.ca (item 350227290030 end time 14-Sep-09 15:16:01 EDT)

It sure doesn't look like a Czechicon one. The seller mentions Polish, can anyone confirm this either way? That large metal clasp at the end of it looks strange.

No it is not, at least it is not a Czechicon sling for the Vz24 rifle. Now, it is possible that someone, somewhere used it on their Vz24 but not the Czechs and I doubt the Poles did either. The article you linked to is accurate, at least it was when John, Robert and I contributed it. I don't think anything has changed in those years.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I thought. Cheers.
