    StG 44 / MP44

Does anyone know roughly what the going rate is for a very nice reactivated transferable Sturmgewehr?

    Thank you.

I follow the prices of some machineguns and the price guide looks to be right on the money.

The HMG reproduction looks interesting too. At $1,800 it’s going to make it hard for GSG to sell their $5,000 version.

    PREISLISTE WAFFEN u. ZUBEHOER

Dittrich´s very exact repro is approx. €1.900, but have no idea whether he´s prepared to deliver to North America (their website reported on his company having been almost bankrupted when orders were not paid for). I sometimes get to fire one belonging to a colleague at the range .... interesting, and functions well (I sometimes re-load for him).

I often wonder why our cringeing EU governments make it easy to take us to court in the US (and have EU citizens extradited), whereas it´s almost impossible for us to obtain justice over there.

Yes, $1,800 puts it within reach of a lot more people who otherwise wouldn't give a $5,000 repo a second look. If they manage to stay in business long enough it's on my punch list for sure.

That was the BD38 that was prohibited in Canadaicon, although the Germanicon authorities had tested it and authorised its sale to the public. The BD 44 was being advertised in the US long after the original purchasing company had defaulted on payment.

I don’t know why you are whinging to me about this. And please forgive me, but I really don’t care. Don’t take it personally. I just don’t care for whinging in general. I found a man selling nice MP-44 and I was wondering if the price was right. Whatever’s bothering you is of no interest to me. Again, it’s not personal. When people start whinging about whatever it is they can find to whing about I walk away. I am just an average man. I can’t change any of the things you people complain about incessantly. Please take your complaints to the people who can do something about them. I am sick of hearing them.
